Listen2Papers is live again at listen2papers.com, and it now has an iOS app. The goal is still simple: turn research papers into audio so you can keep up with new work while commuting, walking, or doing anything away from a desk.
The app lets you upload a PDF research paper and intelligently identifies its structure: headings, sections, and body text. It provides a reading guide that highlights the most interesting parts and shows you what you can safely skim. You can then select exactly which sections to convert to audio, turning the paper into bite-sized soundbites that are stored in your library and ready to queue up whenever you have a moment.
